The stabilising solution protects microbial DNA at room temperature during transit, so refrigeration is not required. Keep the tube tightly closed, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, and do not freeze it unless the instructions say otherwise.
Send it as soon as possible, ideally on the same day or the next working day, and avoid sending it just before a weekend or public holiday.
